The
sun drops lower on the horizon over the Serengeti and our vehicle eases toward
a male lion devouring a freshly killed gazelle as his lioness and cub look on.
While
Dad knaws the meat from the bone, Junior creeps closer and waits for an opportunity
to snag an appetizer when Dad looks away. Not a good idea...
The
cub isn't hurt, but Dad makes it clear he's at the top of the food chain before
taking the gazelle away.
