Ballooning Over Masai Mara
We sit facing upwards in preparation of takeoff, like astronauts on a launch pad. The balloon jumps into the air and we watch the ground pull away from us. Dozens of balloon workers in bright red jumpsuits shrink into the distance.
From the air the animals travel in straight lines along well-worn tracks that crisscross the landscape.
Zebras look fatter from the air.
