This & That

A 'grass tree', found only in WA. Many Australians still refer to this by its politically incorrect name.
Deb shows where the Indian and the Southern Oceans meet.
Along the sandy track to the ocean, a blue-tongued lizard (or 'bobtail') crosses our path. Deb tells me if they bite you, they NEVER let go. Once surgeons remove the reptile from you, the wound apparently never fully heals and periodically oozes. Two more lurk in the bush further along the path.

Debs friends host a fantastic fiesta. Here in Australia, Mexican food is hip and trendy.
